Maybe it’s the wonderful orange blossom aroma - or the ease with which it can be bent and retain its shape. Maybe it is the polish it takes and the silky curls it makes as it leaves my scraping tool... Or maybe, Just Maybe it’s simply that every Brazilian Rosewood guitar just has an unbelievable ‘something special’ to its tone.
Brazilian Rosewood has an incredible bell-like sustain and deep resonant tap tone. Fantastic clarity from a wood which also has a thick, rich bass are what set the "king of the tonewoods" apart from other offerings. I am able to offer export documentation for some sets which were salvaged from stumps of trees originally cut in the early 1900s.
